Thai tradition costumes

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand thought of using Thai cloth when her majesty was young. When her majesty engaged with HIS MAJESTY KING BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ, her majesty said that her will support and encourage in wearing Thai costume. Afterward Thai costume which called “Chood Thai Phra Rad Cha Ni Yom” was estsblished. Her majesty denominated kind of Thai costumes which it came from palaces and throne halls. There are 8 Thai costume such as Thai Amarin, Thai Chitrada, Thai Boromphiman, Thai Chakkraphat, Thai Chakkri, Thai Rouean Ton, Thai Siwalai and Thai Dusit.

Hor Mok Pla (Steamed Fish Fillet in Red Curry)

Today I want you know Thai Food. I believed that many people may not know it. But Thai people had to know certainly. It is Steamed Fish Fillet in Red Curry or in Thai language we call “Hor Mok Pla”. It is a Thai food which was packed in banana leaf and its flavor is spicy a little bit. We can meet it the the most in the Central of Thailand. I thought that Hor Mok Pla same as an Amok which is Cambodia’s food.



Ingredients


800     g fish, scliced         
2 ½     cups of coconut Milk       
150     g Red Curry Paste
3        tablespoon finger root
2        tablespoon rice flour
1        tablespoon kaffir lime leaves
       cups of morinda citrifolia leaves, 
         cut to slice and scalded
1 ½    cups of sweet basil
¼       cup of coriander leaves
¼       cup of goat red peppers
1        egg
¼       fish sauces  




Preparation


  1. Mince red curry paste and finger root.
  2. Stir fish and 1 cup of coconut milk, add egg, mix all and add kaffir lime leaves.
  3. Mix the rest of coconut milk and rice flour, heat over and then stir coconut milk and take pot down for dropping other ingredients.
  4. Drop sweet basil and morinda citrifolia leaves in the banana leave vessel, drop coconut milk, coriander leaves and goat red peppers.
  5. Take them to steam in the water 15 minutes.

She is selling Hor Mok more 30 years and her diner is the most popular.

Khao Yai National Park!


Hello! Everyone~



Today I want to recommend you about tourist attraction in my city. It is popular with foreign tourists because it has pure air and good weather. It is appropriate to travel in winter.
It is called  “KHAO YAI” or Big mountain. It is a national park in which is in Nakhonratchasima province, the northeast of Thailand.  It has area around 2,168 square kilometers. There are many forests, more than 3,000 kinds of tree, animals and waterfalls.

In Khao Yai Nationnal Park, there are many animal such as birds, elephants, mokeys, tigers, bears, insects, etc. If you come to visit here, you can drive your car to go up to the mountain. Sometime you can see them in the way on the road at here.  (When I visited there, I saw a group of monkeys on the roadside)

  • Viewpoints:  On KM 9, KM 30 and Khao Kiow.
  • Waterfalls: Kong Kaow, Haew Narok, Haew Suwat, Haew Sai and Pha Kluay Mai

 In addition, there are resting places, places of camping, food courts, rest rooms and shops where service the tourist.
As for me, I used to visit there latest when the New Year Day 2013. I went to visit Haew Narok waterfall. The way to go to waterfall was undergo trouble a little bit because I had to go steep steps. But I saw waterfall, it is very beautiful and then I brought a lot of souvenirs especially postcards lol and one shirt.

Postcrossing!


Hello!  Everyone~

Today I want you to know one website, it calls http://www.postcrossing.com/




It is website about exchanging postcards via mail (real mail, not email) with random users in Postcrossing all over the world. If you send a postcard, you will receive one back from another random member.

How to exchange postcard?

  1. Register on website. You will need to identify your address so that you can receive postcards. ( You can write something in you profile so that  others postcrosser will know you)
  2. Request to send a postcard. An address is displayed along with the member's profile. This address is accompanied by a Postcard ID - unique code that identifies your postcard.
  3. Write something that you want and send postcard. ( Don’t forget to identify Postcard ID in your card.)
  4. Wait… If the card arrives to destination and it is registered, you will receive postcard from random user too!  
 

 

I knew this website from one novel. It made me want to exchange postcard too so I searched website on internet. I have been exchanging postcards around 2 years. Sometime I was very busy, I did not send postcard. Now I received 59 and sent 63 postcards from random user. The 1st time that I received postcard, I was very very excited and I took to show off my friends lol
